Arcelik Smart TV Browser Emulator

The Arcelik Smart TV Browser Emulator is a Chrome extension developed by Cagatay Sonmez. This free extension injects Arcelik Smart TV APIs into your web page, allowing you to simulate a TV environment.

With this extension, you can benefit from several features. Firstly, it provides a virtual remote controller interface, giving you a convenient way to interact with your simulated TV. Additionally, the extension injects the arSmartTV Smart TV API into each page, allowing you to access TV-specific functionalities.

The extension also modifies the Accept-Language header and User-Agent header of each web request according to the selected language and Smart TV platform. This ensures that your web requests accurately reflect the TV environment you are simulating.

However, it's important to note that you may experience inconvenient responses from servers while the extension is enabled. This is because it overrides the navigator object User-Agent header of each web request. To mitigate this issue, you can add problematic URLs to the Excluded Host list or temporarily disable the extension by selecting the N/A platform option when not working on your smart TV application.

Please be aware that the extension includes a known issue where the arSmartTV.getBroadbandIpAddress() function returns a dummy IP address to avoid additional web requests.
